While I am the first to admit that two kids is a lot more work and a lot harder then I had ever thought (really not hard but more time consuming then I ever thought possible) I am truly missing hearing and playing with them today. I got some nice play time with Luke this morning and got to roll around with Stella for a few minutes which is always nice.
And I do have to say that I know if I was at home I would probably be looking forward to that 12p nap time right about now but that doesn't change that fact that sometimes going back to work on Mondays is tricky....I admit I want it all...the job, the family, the bigger house, the domestic goddess lifestyle. And I realistically know some days you just have to compromise to get all of that and today is the day.
But seriously what I wouldn't do right now to hear Luke say, "Play mommy" and for Stella to stare at me and smile!!!!
Curtis actually had to kick me out of the living room this morning so he could feed Stella as she wouldn't eat she was so busy watching me walk back & forth going from room to room. It doesn't help that the house is the size of a shoe box but it is our current shoe box and we love it.
