She has a little friend

On Saturday the kids daycare had a teacher appreciation party that I went to. I got to speak with both kids daycare providers and talk about their life away from us. As Miss Robyn and I began talking I discovered Stella already has a little buddy. Stella's group is made up of 4 girls and 1 boy!! Her little buddy is Angeline. Apparently Angeline loves to role over to Stella and hold her hand. How adorable. This weekend Stella was rolling over a lot so I have a feeling she will be returning the jester pretty soon.
Stella is starting to enter the phase of not wanting to be alone in a room (can't say I blame her we are pretty cool people most of the time) and she really hates it when Mommy walks right by her and disappears. She really let's us know it by her piercing screams. Good times let me tell you.
This has been really great at bedtime. Luckily Luke can ignore her or he tries to tell her stories to see if she will calm down. The best is when he shsshhs her. It doesn't have the effect he thinks it should have.
Anyways, we are really trying to get a bedtime routine set up with her (the same as Luke's) which means her bedtime is moving a little bit. This is fine since both kids still seem to be thrown off from the time change.
Other sleeping news, Stella is finally doing really well at night. NO she isn't sleeping through the night yet but she is only waking up at around 1a for a quick feed (should be easy to break her of soon) and then again at 5:45a or 6a.
Sometimes we really have to remind ourselves (and probably her doctor) that since she was born almost a month early she is a little behind the "standard" milestones.
We know this next month she is going to be doing so much, she is really holding her bottle now, she is sitting up for longer periods of time, she is starting to show signs of teething, she is really rolling over and creeps a bit while on her belly. So we are in for a very exciting few months!!!
